About the role#
ATA is seeking a seasonal Tax Intern to join the team for the Winter 2027 tax season. This position provides hands-on experience in tax processes and contributes to critical projects within a professional setting.
What you'll do#
- Work closely with the Tax team to assist in the preparation and analysis of tax documents.
- Support the team in compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on tax-related issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Assist with identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
- Communicate clear and concise updates to team members and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn new software programs quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to analyze data and provide insights.
