About the role#
ATA is seeking a seasonal Tax Intern to join the team for the Summer 2027 tax season. This role provides hands-on experience in tax processes and allows for contributions to critical projects within a professional setting.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of tax documents.
- Support the team with tax regulation compliance and filing requirements.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on tax-related issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather data and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Communicate clear updates to team members and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or equivalent tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn new software programs quickly.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
