About the role#
ATA is hiring a seasonal Tax Intern for the Winter 2028 term. This role provides hands-on experience with tax processes and professional projects. You will work within our tax team to support compliance and reporting tasks.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of tax documents.
- Support the team in meeting tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Research tax-related issues and offer recommendations.
- Gather data from other departments to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Identify ways to improve internal processes and work efficiency.
- Provide updates to team members and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Availability to work at least 15-20 hours per week.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn new software programs quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A customer-focused mindset.
