    About the role#

    As an RF Validation Intern, you will contribute to the design validation and measurement automation of RF hardware for our upcoming satellite projects. This is a full-time, hourly role based in San Francisco for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on hardware development and gain hands-on experience with satellite systems.

    What you'll do#

    • Measure and validate the performance of LNAs, power amplifiers, up/down converters, filters, and oscillators.
    • Write automation code to increase the speed and efficiency of measurement processes.
    • Document test plans, measurement methodologies, and collected data for team review.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related technical field.
    • Deep knowledge of RF concepts, including transmission lines, S-parameters, and RF building blocks like mixers, attenuators, and amplifiers.
    • Experience taking RF measurements using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and network analyzers.
    • Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming concepts.
    • A strong interest in hands-on hardware design and development.
    • U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or protected individual status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

    Bonus points if you have experience with Software Defined Radios (SDR), antenna and electromagnetics propagation, or automating RF measurements.
