About the role#
As an RF Validation Intern, you will contribute to the design validation and measurement automation of RF hardware for our upcoming satellite projects. This is a twelve-week, full-time, paid internship for students currently enrolled in a four-year university program.
What you'll do#
- Measure and validate the performance of RF components including LNAs, power amplifiers, up/down converters, filters, and oscillators.
- Develop automation code to improve the speed and efficiency of RF measurements.
- Create documentation for test plans, measurement methodologies, and collected data for team review.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in electrical engineering, computer engineering, applied physics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of basic RF concepts such as transmission lines, S-parameters, and RF building blocks like mixers, attenuators, and amplifiers.
- Experience using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and network analyzers.
- Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Interest in hardware development and hands-on design.
- Bonus points for experience with Software Defined Radios (SDR), RF measurement automation, or knowledge of antennas and electromagnetics propagation.

- Compensation: $29.00 per hour.
