About the role#
As a Propulsion Test Intern, you will oversee the definition of test plans for propulsion components and systems. You will design, build, and test equipment while working with other teams to meet project requirements, schedules, and budgets.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and qualify test equipment for propulsion systems.
- Perform design, analysis, and trade studies for test equipment at the component and system level.
- Develop and execute test plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete project tasks.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in aerospace, mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
- A demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
- A drive to fix broken equipment, processes, or communication issues.
- U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or protected individual status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
Bonus points if you have experience with liquid propulsion systems, Python, technical standards, or MES/ERP software.
