About the role#
This internship is a twelve-week, full-time position for students currently enrolled in a four-year university program. You will contribute to meaningful, hands-on engineering projects and work alongside our team to solve complex problems.
What you'll do#
- Design and build the factory that produces our satellites.
- Deliver a physical propulsion subsystem, from tank to thruster, that is ready for space operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks, Creo, or NX.
- A strong interest in manufacturing and learning how things are made.
- A drive to fix broken equipment, processes, or communication gaps.
- Hands-on experience with design and development.
We also value the following experience, though it is not required:
- Building or testing liquid propulsion systems.
- Writing work instructions or test procedures.
- Using MES or ERP software.
- Welding, machining, or designing welded and machined components.

- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $29.00 per hour.
- Eligibility: This role requires U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee status to comply with export regulations.
