About the role#
As an Avionics Intern, you will join our engineering team to build and test flight hardware. This is a full-time role for students currently enrolled in a four-year university program. You will work on real satellite hardware and contribute to projects that support our mission in space. Interns are expected to participate in hands-on work, including lab testing and hardware development.
What you'll do#
- Build and test flight hardware with the avionics engineering team.
- Create test equipment to validate designs under stressed conditions.
- Bring up and debug designs in the lab.
- Write code to evaluate performance and automate satellite hardware testing.
- Assist with low level software to interface with spacecraft subsystems.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.
- Experience with Python or C++.
- Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
- An interest in spacecraft systems and a drive for hardware development.
- US Citizenship or Green Card status is required to comply with export regulations.
