About the role#
This internship is a twelve-week, full-time position for students currently enrolled at a four-year university. You will join the avionics engineering team to contribute to flight hardware development and testing. This role is on-site at our headquarters in San Francisco.
What you'll do#
- Build and test flight hardware with the avionics team.
- Create test equipment to validate designs under stressed conditions.
- Bring up and debug new designs in the lab.
- Write code to evaluate performance and automate satellite hardware testing.
- Work with low level software to interface with spacecraft subsystems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. program in electrical or computer engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience with Python or C++.
- A demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
- Interest in spacecraft systems and hands-on hardware development.
- US Citizenship or Green Card status is required to comply with export regulations.
