About the role#
The Assurant Internship Program is a 12-week experience focused on real business challenges. As a Global Onboarding Intern, you will contribute to strategic work that improves how new employees connect, learn, and succeed. You will partner with team members to analyze data, identify improvements, and support the design of onboarding experiences across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Assess onboarding experiences to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development of role-based and population-specific onboarding programs.
- Analyze onboarding feedback and operational metrics.
- Document employee journeys, personas, and process improvements.
- Compile data to create visualizations, dashboards, and reports that support decision-making.
- Translate quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Conduct research and benchmarking to identify onboarding trends.
- Explore the use of technology and AI-enabled tools to improve onboarding efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student graduating between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Majors in Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, or related fields.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Experience with data visualization or survey platforms is a plus.
- Curiosity and a desire to improve employee experiences.
- Must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship.
