About the role#
Aspen Fiber Networks is hiring a Marketing Specialist Intern to join our business development team in Houston. This is a part-time, on-site role where you will gain practical experience by working alongside our marketing staff on various campaigns and projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns.
- Support social media management through content creation and engagement strategies.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends.
- Create content for newsletters, blogs, and website updates.
- Help plan and coordinate marketing events and webinars.
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare presentations or proposals.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work 24 to 30 hours a week.
