About the role#
The ASPCA is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Student Representative at the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. This role connects you with peers and professionals in animal welfare while you champion our initiatives on campus. You will act as a primary point of contact for students interested in our work, externships, and career pathways.
What you'll do#
- Serve as a dedicated representative of the ASPCA at Ross University.
- Stay informed about all student externship opportunities and resources.
- Act as a resource for fellow students to share information about our mission and future career pathways.
- Assist in the logistical planning and execution of campus events, including workshops, presentations, and career fairs.
- Maintain academic excellence and focus on your education throughout the term.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a veterinary student at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.
- A strong belief in the mission and core values of the ASPCA.
- High level of maturity and professionalism.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to dedicate an average of 3 hours a week during the semester.
- Good academic standing.
Location & details#
This is a remote position based in New York. The role is paid at $20 per hour with a flexible schedule. We accept applications on a rolling basis.
