About the role#
This internship program at the Chocolate Bayou site helps students develop the skills needed to work as a Processor. You will work under the guidance of experienced team members in a chemical plant environment. This role reports to a Shift Lead or Operations Supervisor.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and maintain day to day unit operations.
- Coordinate daily maintenance repairs.
- Apply tools to improve product quality.
- Safely operate the unit during start-ups and shutdowns.
- Isolate and decontaminate equipment.
- Follow company policies and guidelines.
- Support Qualified Processors by making rounds and taking readings.
- Learn and apply ESSH procedures.
What you'll need#
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Hold a High School Diploma or GED.
- Possess a current and valid United States driver license.
- Be currently pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Process Technology.
- Plan to graduate in May 2026, August 2026, or December 2026.
- Pass all pre-employment screenings, including a physical, drug screen, background check, and tower climb.

- Location: Alvin, Texas.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
