About the role#
The Upper Extremity Product Management team in Naples, Florida, manages the development of products across the Arthrex portfolio. This summer program offers exposure to the medical device industry by integrating you with departments that influence product development. You will work 40 hours per week from May 2027 through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research on existing and future product lines.
- Analyze survey findings, identify trends, and format data for the product management team.
- Use the Hospital Supply Index Database to gather competitor sales data.
- Create and deliver PowerPoint presentations to internal teams to share recommendations.
- Communicate with engineering, product management, medical education, surgeon consultants, and surgeon customers.
- Present a capstone project to senior product management team members.
- Produce marketing collateral and develop social media plans.
- Help create product demonstration models and training materials.
- Conduct focus groups with sales representatives.
- Support labs that use cadaveric specimens for testing surgical implants and instruments.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree and current enrollment in a Master's program, preferably in Business or Biomedical Engineering.
- Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date.
- Intermediate to expert computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in Medical Device Sales or Orthopedics is highly preferred.
- An interest in brand management and surgical devices.
