About the role#
This co-op position supports the Design Quality Engineering team in Naples, Florida. You will work within the Imaging and Resection product portfolio to assist with risk management, product quality, and continuous improvement. The role involves contributing to new product development, sustaining activities, and non-conformance investigations.
What you'll do#
- Help reformat, align, define, and release remediated risk management files.
- Support new product development and remediation projects, including design control documentation and quality plans.
- Assist with PPAP development and reviews for engineering and documentation changes.
- Improve lab efficiency by updating standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in an engineering degree program or graduation within the last six months.
- Junior standing or higher is preferred.
- Studies in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and through speech.
- Capacity to solve technical issues.
- Familiarity with surgical equipment, mechanical testing equipment, PCs, or 3D modeling software such as ProEngineer is a plus.

- Location: Naples, Florida.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 through June 2027).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Work modality: On-site.
