About the role#
Arrowleaf is hiring Student Workers for The Scoop Station, an ice cream shop located inside the Forman Depot Visitor Center and Train Museum in Vienna, Illinois. This role offers experience in customer service, food service, and daily business operations while supporting community development.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers and assist visitors to create a welcoming experience.
- Take orders and operate the point-of-sale system.
- Serve ice cream and other menu items.
- Prepare food while following safety requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness in customer, service, and food-preparation areas.
- Wash dishes and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
- Stock supplies and assist with inventory.
- Perform routine cleaning and janitorial duties.
What you'll need#
- You must be 16 or 17 years old.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite is required.
- Completion of Food Handler Certification during orientation.
- Completion of CPR and First-Aid Certification during orientation.
Location & details#
- Location: Vienna, Illinois.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Pay: $13.00 to $15.50 per hour.
- Schedule: Rolling basis based on availability and shop needs.
