About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. You will work on-site at our manufacturing facility to gain experience with large-scale equipment and industrial processes. You will support our capital engineering team by contributing to ongoing plant projects and completing a specific assigned project during your term.
What you'll do#
- Manage an independent engineering project from start to finish.
- Assist with ongoing capital engineering projects within the plant.
- Write project specifications and define requirements.
- Coordinate project schedules using standard project management tools.
- Update existing technical drawings and create new ones using AutoCAD.
- Observe installation, project closing, and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical Engineering at an ABET accredited school.
- You must be within 24 months of graduation.
- A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Previous experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
