About the role#
As a Chemical Process Engineer Intern, you will work directly with our production operations teams in Marietta. You will receive daily guidance from the Technical Services Manager and a designated mentor. Your work will contribute to plant objectives, and you will present your projects and findings to the factory leadership team at the end of your internship.
What you'll do#
- Drive improvements within a key plant focus area.
- Communicate good science practices to business operations support teams.
- Collaborate with production teams to support daily operations.
- Summarize your project outcomes and learnings for factory leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree program in Chemical Engineering.
- Completion of your junior year or current status as a junior.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA, both cumulative and within your major.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work both in teams and autonomously.
- Proficiency in a Windows environment, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to climb ladders and walk catwalks to monitor and validate equipment.
- Unlimited authorization to work in the United States.
