About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will gain hands-on experience in public accounting, working alongside professionals at various levels. The role includes participating in interactive programming and training to build your professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns, including return drafts, quarterly estimates, vouchers, extension prep, and projections.
- Research and track changes in federal and state tax regulations.
- Contribute as an individual and as part of a team to support client engagements across multiple industries.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members on client projects through meetings, chat, and email.
- Work toward your CPA certification with support through prep materials and classes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
- A plan to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 and August 2028 is preferred.
