About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work alongside professionals at all levels, gaining exposure to the same projects as associate-level hires. This role provides an opportunity to build your professional network and develop your skills through interactive programming and training.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns, including drafts, quarterly estimates, and projections.
- Research and stay current with federal and state tax regulations.
- Collaborate with team members on client projects across various industries.
- Develop technical skills in accounting software through training and on the job experience.
- Work toward CPA certification with access to firm prep materials and classes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Preference is given to those planning to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure between December 2027 and August 2028.
