About the role#
Armanino is hiring a Tax Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This full-time, paid position offers hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work alongside professionals at all levels on client projects across various industries. The role focuses on building technical tax skills and professional development through training and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns, including return drafts, quarterly estimates, vouchers, and extensions.
- Research and track changes in federal and state tax regulations.
- Collaborate with team members through meetings, email, and chat to support client engagements.
- Develop proficiency in accounting software through instructor-led courses and on-the-job training.
- Work toward CPA certification goals with access to provided prep materials and classes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Preference is given to students who plan to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure between December 2027 and August 2028.
