About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work alongside professionals at all levels to gain hands-on experience in public accounting and consulting. The role consists of 60% project work, 20% learning, 10% client-facing tasks, and 10% internal meetings.
What you'll do#
- Perform tests and procedures to collect evidence for client reporting standards.
- Assist with fieldwork for SOC audits, IT General Controls, ISO Assessments, SOX, and Internal Audits.
- Interact with clients to identify and resolve audit issues.
- Learn the client system and control environment to understand its impact on users.
- Evaluate process risks, develop tests for key controls, and determine the effectiveness of those controls.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- A preference for candidates planning to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure between December 2027 and August 2028.
