About the role#
This summer internship provides hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work alongside professionals at various levels and gain insight into the field. The role includes participation in training and interactive programming to build your skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the performance and documentation of audit procedures and prepare workpapers.
- Work as an individual contributor and as part of an engagement team to support client needs.
- Interpret and analyze financial data, then communicate your findings to the engagement team.
- Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters.
- Engage with client personnel and the engagement team to develop professional relationships.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
- Preference is given to those who plan to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 and August 2028.
