About the role#
Arlo Technologies is seeking students for an 8-month, full-time Co-op position. This role focuses on the development of embedded software and tools for security products. The position is on-site in Richmond, British Columbia.
What you'll do#
- Maintain existing features and implement new ones.
- Execute design, coding, and unit testing tasks.
- Perform debugging and system level testing.
- Work primarily within a Linux environment.
- Contribute to Windows development using Visual Studio or application development for iOS and Android.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering (preferably 3rd or 4th year).
- Strong knowledge of the C programming language.
- Practical experience with Linux or Visual Studio.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of real-time OS concepts.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
