About the role#
Arconic is hiring Mechanical Engineer Interns for our Rolled Products North America division in Bettendorf, Iowa. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship focused on the rolling process. You will work within our manufacturing plant and gain practical experience with mechanical systems.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and assist various engineering groups across the plant.
- Research and complete assigned projects.
- Gain hands-on experience with real-world mechanical systems.
- Create a mid-summer presentation to share your findings and project solutions with teams across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical Engineering.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Prior work experience and involvement in extracurricular activities.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to meet requirements for access to controlled technology under Export Administration Regulations or International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
