About the role#
Arconic is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern for a full-time summer assignment. This is a 10-week position based in Alcoa, Tennessee. You will work alongside our engineering team, participate in projects, and present your findings to leadership. We provide a monthly salary and a housing stipend for eligible candidates.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and assist the Electrical Engineering group.
- Research and complete specific engineering projects.
- Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare and present materials to managers.
- Support the department on key initiatives.
- Participate in company-wide intern activities, such as plant tours and presentations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering at an accredited university.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Involvement in at least one extracurricular activity.
- Prior work experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
- A graduation date in 2027 or Spring 2028.
