About the role#
Arclin is looking for an intern to support the Elastomers business unit. You will help analyze operational capabilities, costs, and capacity. This role involves working closely with leadership and stakeholders to support initiatives at the St. Clair manufacturing site. You will gain exposure to value-based pricing, business analysis, and project coordination.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to help the team understand operational capacity and cost structures.
- Assist with business analysis focused on optimizing product and customer portfolios.
- Support project management tasks, including coordinating internal processes and external outsourcing programs.
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to share insights with leadership.
- Collaborate remotely with the Elastomers team and communicate with the St. Clair plant as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with a focus on data analysis or statistical methodology. Relevant fields include Data Science, Business Administration, Operations Management, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including graphing and programming skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a remote environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving problems.
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is preferred.
- Prior experience through internships or projects in industrial or manufacturing settings is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is remote, though limited travel to Cleveland, Ohio may be required.
- This position is based on a rolling term.
