About the role#
ARCH is hiring an Operations Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Seabrook, New Hampshire. You will work closely with the Operations leadership team to support projects focused on process improvement, operational excellence, and manufacturing performance.
What you'll do#
- Support Lean and 5S initiatives by identifying waste and improving workflows.
- Organize work areas and assist with standardization efforts.
- Participate in process observations to help reduce variation and increase productivity.
- Partner with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams on cross-functional projects.
- Follow all workplace safety laws and standards.
- Move through manufacturing and office areas to observe processes, which requires light physical exertion and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a high school or college program.
- An interest in manufacturing operations, Lean concepts, and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to identify trends and communicate findings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn internal reporting tools and systems.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to ask questions when you need clarification.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
