About the role#
This is a paid student worker position within the food service and catering department at the University of Tennessee. This role is available for the Summer 2026 term and requires on-site attendance in Knoxville, Tennessee.
What you'll do#
- Assist with food preparation and service for various catered events.
- Set up event spaces and perform breakdown duties after functions conclude.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all food service areas.
- Provide customer service to guests throughout events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the University of Tennessee.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing.
