About the role#
This is a paid, on-site student worker position within the University of Delaware catering department for the Summer 2026 term. This role is open to students across various disciplines, including Business Administration, Nutrition, Civil Engineering, Psychology, and Communications.
What you'll do#
- Assist with food preparation and service for daily operations and catering events.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness for all work areas and kitchen equipment.
- Interact with customers and provide professional service.
- Follow all established safety and sanitation procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the University of Delaware.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Flexible availability to accommodate catering event schedules.
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
