About the role#
This student worker position supports food service and catering operations on campus. It is a paid, on-site role open to students from various fields of study, including Civil Engineering, Nutrition, Psychology, and Business Administration.
What you'll do#
- Prepare food items following standardized recipes and directions.
- Store food properly to meet safety standards.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations like prep tables and service counters.
- Serve customers, replenish food levels, and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies while protecting company assets.
- Maintain a positive attitude when working with guests, clients, and co-workers.
What you'll need#
- Ability to demonstrate guest service skills.
- Must hold or be willing to acquire a food safety certification.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- This role involves physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- You may be required to wear a uniform or personal protective equipment.

- Compensation: $15.16 to $15.50 per hour.
- Term: Rolling basis.
