About the role#
As a Student Worker at the Raider Zone, you will support food service operations on campus. This position involves preparing food, maintaining service areas, and interacting directly with customers. You will work as part of a team to ensure that food service standards are met while gaining experience in a professional kitchen environment.
What you'll do#
- Build and prepare food items following standardized recipes.
- Set up, break down, and sanitize workstations like prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers and ensure their needs are met.
- Keep food items stocked and replenished throughout your shift.
- Store food properly according to safety standards.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward guests, clients, and co-workers.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
- Protect and ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to demonstrate guest service skills.
- Must hold or be willing to acquire a food safety certification.
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
- This role involves physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods.
- You may be required to wear a uniform or use personal protective equipment.
