About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026 based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. You will gain hands-on experience in human resources within the corrections industry, supporting core HR functions and employee engagement.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the recruitment process by screening resumes and scheduling interviews.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires.
- Help maintain employee records and documentation.
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives.
- Research best practices in HR and corrections.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
- Genuine interest in the human resources and corrections fields.
