About the role#
As a Full Asset Potential Diagnostic Intern, you will manage a dedicated 12-week project. This role focuses on solving real-world mining challenges and mastering project management fundamentals. You will own your project from start to finish, culminating in a technical report and a presentation for our leadership team.
What you'll do#
- Manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Clean, analyze, and model complex datasets related to mining, mobile fleet, or process plant metrics.
- Engage with stakeholders to validate your data and models.
- Set data-driven performance targets and build support at the mine site.
- Guide mine-site personnel through project planning to help close gaps to targets.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising senior in an Undergraduate program or as a final-year Master's student.
- A degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of open pit or underground mines, or processing plants.
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
- Experience analyzing datasets and drawing logical conclusions.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity in an unstructured environment.
- Proficiency with AI tools like Gemini or Claude.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to ask questions.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel to project sites if necessary.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
