About the role#
The Full Asset Potential - Delivery Intern supports the deployment of the Full Asset Potential Delivery program across our 9 global operating sites. You will solve real-world mining challenges, strengthen your ability to influence stakeholders, and master project management fundamentals. This is a project-based internship where you own a core technical project from start to finish, culminating in a final presentation to technical leadership.
What you'll do#
- Take ownership of a dedicated 12-week project, manage timelines, and deliver a final technical report and presentation.
- Coach sites to master the full potential delivery playbook.
- Train sites on tools to track project progress and estimate impacts.
- Develop solutions to accelerate timelines for projects experiencing delays.
- Analyze expected impacts across interdependent KPIs to identify bottleneck shifts or leakage.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a rising senior in an Undergraduate program or final-year Master's student.
- Pursuing a degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy, or a closely related field.
- Foundational knowledge and experience working in open pit or underground mines, or associated processing plants.
- Strong technical writing, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze datasets, draw logical conclusions, and present findings clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes.
- Experience using AI tools such as Gemini or Claude.
- A collaborative mindset with an eagerness to learn and ask questions.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites if necessary.
