About the role#
The Supply Chain Analytics team turns data into insights for Amway's supply chain operations. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology. You will work on real-world supply chain challenges and gain exposure to data analytics, business processes, and emerging AI tools. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of data platforms and reporting solutions.
- Analyze trends and business data to uncover insights and opportunities.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
- Improve data collection, accessibility, and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Explore opportunities to use automation and AI capabilities to improve efficiency and business outcomes.
What you'll need#
- You must have completed your junior year of undergraduate study or be a Master's-level student with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and April 2028.
- Majors in Data Science, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Proficiency in SQL is required. Python is preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data environments and Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
- Experience using AI tools to support analysis or productivity.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work through ambiguity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a self-motivated approach to learning.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Ada, Michigan.
- The role is on-site Monday through Thursday, with Friday as a remote optional day.
