About the role#
As a Global Supply Chain Procurement Intern, you will work on projects that impact the business directly. You will partner with procurement professionals and stakeholders across various functions and regions. This role offers exposure to the broader supply chain organization and provides opportunities to contribute to strategic initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Support sourcing and supplier management tasks.
- Perform spend analysis and conduct cost analysis for specific spend categories.
- Partner with business stakeholders to evaluate opportunities and develop recommendations.
- Conduct strategic bids and negotiate spend with suppliers.
- Develop and roll out a global Supplier Segmentation process.
- Implement or expand stocking programs.
- Use analytics to provide business insights and support process improvement.
What you'll need#
- You must have completed your junior year by the start of the internship.
- Your anticipated graduation date should be between December 2027 and April 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Operations Management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of projects.
- A natural curiosity to understand root causes and business drivers.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based in Ada, Michigan.
- The work schedule is on-site Monday through Thursday, with Friday as an optional remote day.
