About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will join the Business Development (BD) team to support transactions including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and licensing. This is a project-based role where you will address business questions, gain exposure to senior leadership, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do#
- Work closely with senior levels and deal teams.
- Analyze competitive landscapes for therapeutic or geographic areas to identify potential targets.
- Build financial valuation and transaction models.
- Perform scenario analysis to assess economic impact.
- Assist in planning and running transaction and BD operations processes.
- Prepare materials for internal governance and cross-functional meetings.
- Support negotiations and deal structuring.
- Present final findings to the BD organization and key stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent.
- Completion of at least one year of study prior to the internship and continued enrollment afterward.
- Must be 18 years or older and located in the United States for the duration of the program.
- Majors preferred: Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Biology, or Chemical Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of basic financial principles.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and stay focused on priorities.
- Prior work experience and a collaborative team-player mindset.
