About the role#
Foxx Life Sciences is looking for an early-career professional to join the Bioprocess Division as a Field Sales Development Intern. This role focuses on supporting customer acquisition, lead generation, and account expansion. It is designed for students or recent graduates who want to build a career in sales and business development within the life sciences industry. You will work directly with sales leadership to identify new prospects and grow revenue in your assigned territory.
What you'll do#
- Identify and research new customers across pharmaceutical, biotech, CDMO, and academic accounts.
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into new business opportunities.
- Conduct outbound outreach using email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Coordinate introductory meetings and product discussions.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM, including activity tracking and opportunity status.
- Assist with territory planning, account mapping, and competitive intelligence.
- Support field sales efforts to help grow revenue from new accounts.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business, marketing, or a related field, or current status as an undergraduate nearing completion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An interest in sales, marketing, and customer relationship management.
- A willingness to learn technical products and bioprocess applications.
- Experience working with goals, KPIs, and revenue targets.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and LinkedIn.
- Prior experience through internships, co-ops, campus leadership, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal leadership.

- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
- The term is rolling.
- Compensation includes a monthly stipend and a commission opportunity based on meeting growth targets and KPIs.
