About the role#
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Operations intern for the summer of 2026. You will handle daily security operations, investigate network incidents, and resolve security issues. This role suits someone with a technical mindset who wants to learn how enterprise information security works.
What you'll do#
- Maintain existing security tools and processes.
- Test and implement new security technologies.
- Respond to computer security incidents.
- Research network and system logs to investigate alerts.
- Identify gaps in current cyber operations.
- Create technical summaries for management.
- Work with a small team and communicate task status to supervisors.
What you'll need#
- A High School diploma and at least 2 years of college or equivalent work experience.
- Some experience with IT tools.
- Majors in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- You may need to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
- This is a full-time, paid internship at $25.00 per hour.
