About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for law students looking to gain practical experience in both transactional and litigation work. You will work directly with our legal team to support daily operations and case management. The position operates on a rolling basis, with a mix of on-site work in Oklahoma City and remote hours.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with your manager and other department colleagues.
- Research legal issues and draft memoranda for litigation matters.
- Help prepare case strategies under the supervision of experienced attorneys.
- Draft, review, and revise various contracts and legal documents.
- Conduct research on transactional matters including mergers, acquisitions, corporate governance, and securities.
- Participate in client meetings and negotiations.
- Support the legal team during due diligence processes.
- Assist attorneys with the preparation and closing of transactions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited law school with over 50 completed course hours.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A desire to learn our corporate culture.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- Technical proficiency to navigate multiple systems and learn new software tools.
