About the role#
The Shareholder Accounting Intern reports to the Shareholder Accounting Manager in Moorhead, Minnesota. This part-time role focuses on supporting the daily operations of the department while maintaining company values like safety, integrity, and accountability.
What you'll do#
- Handle daily projects involving data support, reporting, and documentation.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare stock and equity transfer applications and audit them for compliance.
- Verify and record security filings, such as crop liens and UCC agreements.
- Help prepare shareholder beet payments.
- Review shareholder agreements for compliance.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a Junior or Senior in a university program for Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with a strong focus on Excel.
- Experience with Adobe products.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Moorhead, MN.
- The role is part-time and operates on a rolling basis.
- Compensation is $20.00 per hour.
- You must be able to work in an office environment with frequent interruptions and potential for extended days during busy periods.
