About the role#
This internship provides exposure to agriculture-related situations and professional business operations. You will focus on learning and understanding the daily responsibilities of an Agriculturist at American Crystal Sugar Company.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience through on the job training.
- Access support for decision-making and problem-solving tasks.
- Utilize company-provided equipment including an iPad, cell phone, pickup, and ATV or UTV.
- Potentially qualify for a second-year internship following a successful summer.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your sophomore year of college.
- Current enrollment in an Agriculture-related major.
Location & details#
- Location: Moorhead, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M., averaging 40 hours per week.
- Flexibility: Schedules can be adjusted for school commitments.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
- Benefits: The company covers internship fees and provides pay for company-observed holidays, as well as Earned Sick and Safe Time.
