About the role#
This is a full-time agriculture internship running from May through August 2027. You will gain experience in both agriculture-related situations and a professional business setting. The internship focuses on learning the daily responsibilities of an Agriculturist at American Crystal Sugar Company. You will receive on-the-job training and have access to support for decision-making and problem-solving. Successful interns may have the opportunity to return for a second summer.
What you'll do#
- Learn and understand the job responsibilities of an Agriculturist position.
- Work an average of 40 hours per week.
- Utilize company-issued equipment including an iPad, cell phone, pickup, and ATV or UTV.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your sophomore year of college.
- Enrollment in an agriculture-related major.
Location & details#
- Location: East Grand Forks, Minnesota.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. We can adjust hours for school commitments.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
- Benefits: The company pays for required internship credits or fees. You earn one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked and receive pay for company-observed holidays.
