About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the agriculture industry. You will work with the American Crystal Sugar Company team in Drayton, North Dakota, during the summer of 2027. The role is full-time, typically running Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. We prioritize your education and can adjust schedules to accommodate school needs.
What you'll do#
- Learn the daily responsibilities of an Agriculturist.
- Gain exposure to various agriculture-related situations.
- Build experience within a professional business setting.
- Receive on-the-job training with support available for decision-making.
- Use company-issued equipment including an iPad, cell phone, pickup, and ATV or UTV.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your sophomore year of college.
- Enrollment in an agriculture-related major.
Location & details#
- Location: Drayton, North Dakota.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Earned sick and safe time, pay for company-observed holidays, and coverage of internship credit fees.
- Future opportunities: Successful interns may be eligible for a second-year internship the following summer.
