About the role#
This co-op program provides professional work experience and networking opportunities. You will join Ameren for the Spring 2027 term, running from January through August. Your work will directly impact our mission to power the quality of life for our customers.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with teams on regional transmission projects.
- Gain hands-on experience in the energy industry.
- Contribute to infrastructure projects that serve local communities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters engineering program at an accredited university.
- Your degree must be in Chemical, Industrial, Biomedical, Environmental, or Aerospace Engineering. We are not accepting electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering students for this specific role.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

- This position is based in St. Louis, Missouri.
- The role is on-site.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
- We offer a housing stipend if you live and attend school more than 50 miles away from the work location.
- We do not provide sponsorship for this role.
