About the role#
The IT Analytics Intern will gain hands-on experience in business analysis, data science, and reporting. You will work with the IT team to analyze data, improve efficiency, and support IT performance. This role provides exposure to corporate mentorship during a critical period following the company-wide implementation of SAP.
What you'll do#
- Collect and document defects during SAP testing phases.
- Analyze trends in SAP data to identify improvement areas.
- Create and manage operational reports for stakeholders.
- Assist business partners in using SAP for their daily roles.
- Interpret and validate data while working cross-functionally on transformation initiatives.
- Develop and present recommendations based on your analysis to senior management.
- Communicate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements.
- Adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in a Bachelor's program, or a recent graduate in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and advanced formulas.
- Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms like Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and succeed in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous retail experience is preferred.
- Exposure to SAP reporting solutions like SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP Datasphere is a plus.
