About the role#
As an Insurance Consulting Intern, you will join our team for a 10-week summer program in New York. You will work alongside consultants to identify and implement business and technology solutions for insurers. This role provides direct exposure to senior management teams and hands-on consulting experience. You will receive mentorship from colleagues and a dedicated Alpha Buddy to assist with your integration into the firm.
What you'll do#
- Collect and analyze data, prepare and test hypotheses, and present recommendations to clients.
- Follow project delivery plans to produce accurate, complete, and timely deliverables.
- Assist in the facilitation of client meetings and workshops.
- Maintain project plans and perform data analysis in Excel.
- Contribute to the wider Alpha community by participating in business management or practice areas.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or non-MBA master's student graduating between September 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work from the New York office for the duration of the internship.
- Availability for the full program dates from June 14, 2027, to August 20, 2027.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Data Science.
