About the role#
AllRock Consulting is seeking a full-time Civil/Field Engineering student to join our team in Ottawa. This role offers exposure to all stages of construction projects, ranging from geotechnical investigation to execution and quality control. You will work on a variety of infrastructure projects across Ontario.
What you'll do#
- Perform quality control and quality assurance testing along with field inspections on construction projects.
- Conduct laboratory and field testing of soils, aggregates, and asphalt.
- Assist project managers with the coordination of field and lab staff.
- Prepare and distribute testing results to our clients.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your 2nd or 3rd year in a Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering program at a credited college or university.
- A full and valid driver’s license.
- Access to a vehicle for travel to and from construction sites.
