About the role#
The Field Communications Intern will join the Sales Enablement and Operations Department to support internal communication projects. You will gain hands-on experience by producing content for sales and service representatives, managing resource libraries, and tracking engagement metrics. This position provides an opportunity to understand the mechanics of internal corporate communications.
What you'll do#
- Write educational articles and create the weekly eNewsletter for the field team.
- Collaborate with marketing and product managers to edit and refine content.
- Develop educational materials for the sales enablement platform.
- Maintain consistency across the platform by checking links, document naming, and brand standards.
- Track readership metrics for the weekly eNewsletter and update documentation spreadsheets.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies, or English.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with email marketing and content management is preferred.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
Location & details#
- Location: St. Paul, Minnesota (on-site at the Securian campus).
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 24th to August 13th).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
