About the role#
The Field Communications Intern will join the Sales Enablement & Operations Department for a 12-week program. You will support internal communications for our sales and service representatives, manage marketing and training content, and track the effectiveness of our communication tools. This position provides hands-on experience in an internal communications role while supporting a sales and service team.
What you'll do#
- Create and publish the weekly eNewsletter for the Field.
- Write educational articles for the eNewsletter.
- Collaborate with marketing and product managers to edit and refine content.
- Develop educational materials for the sales enablement platform.
- Maintain consistency across the sales enablement platform, including checking links, page structure, and brand standards.
- Track eNewsletter readership and update tracking spreadsheets for document reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program.
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies, or English.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with email marketing and content management is preferred.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Location & details#
- Location: St. Paul, Minnesota (on-site at the Securian campus).
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 24th to August 13th).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship.
